We've lived in this community for fourteen years. We rolled up the corporate ladder and chose to put roots down. We wanted our children to make life long friends and moving here when our oldest was nine, middle was six and the youngest was three years old allowed us to do that. We would raise our children here. This allowed us to build relationships with so many amazing families and people. Moving from the midwest, not knowing much about the area we were moving to, I think we did pretty darn good finding the right community for us. We have been blessed with awesome neighbors and our school system is one of the best in the state. Thankfully, our kids, have had awesome teachers! We've also been blessed with friends who are so fun and as we'll see as the years go on were of great support as we were going through hell.
Life continued to happen. We lost my husband's mother when our oldest was a sophomore in college. the boys were in middle and high school. Our first parent to pass away. Recently, she was in my dream. My husband was upset over recent events with court and he called to tell me about it. FYI, court is not for the faint of heart. The justice system doesn't always see things the way we do. The way we think they should. It's not black and white, it's more of a murky gray. Anyway, back to my dream. I dreamed my family was at the beach and I knew my mother in law was in this shop. I couldn't wait to see her. I opened the door and there she was. She was standing in the back of the shop looking just like she always did before she was sick. I needed to tell her I loved her. She said she loved me too and she smiled and turned to leave. I knew then she was telling me hang in there. It's going to be okay. The Lord put peace in my heart. Once again telling me to trust Him. I woke up crying unable to breathe. Thank you God for that dream.
