Deeper Water
If God called you to deeper water would you go? Would you trust Him completely?
Think about it. God says, I need you to say yes to this. You do not have to say yes. You
feel in your heart that your whole world is going to change in an instant. You think certainly
someone else will step forward so you don't have to.You think I'm sure family will help but that's before you know what kind of family you're dealing with. You can say no and just keep doing what you're doing. You know that's satan talking. Satan says, be scared. Do the easy thing and just say no. He reminds you that you do not have to say yes. But, you love God and you know when you're being asked to serve. You will not say no to the Lord. So, with both feet you jump in.
You're not sure what in the world you've gotten yourself into, but with faith and hope,
you know God will bring you through hell.
My husband and I said yes. We said yes to fostering a fifteen year old girl. We had no idea
how deep the water would get and if there would be a sandbar here and there. But we did it. We did it
because we knew God would throw us life savers and rafts and he'd create a sandbar here and there. We said yes because this fifteen year old girl is worth it.
This blog is a raw journal of our experience with monsters beyond our imagination. It's a journal of family events and fostering and it's mostly a journal of God's grace and His love for us.
"When you go through deep waters
I will be with you"
